Sakarya Climate Change Adaptation Strategy and Action Plan Scoping Meeting were held online on June 7, 2021, with the participation of 61 representatives from public institutions, non-governmental organizations, municipalities, the private sector, and academia. As a part of the preparations for Sakarya’s Climate Change Adaptation Strategy and Action Plan, the needs and opportunities of Sakarya in the climate change adaptation process were presented at the meeting. The climate change adaptation targets and actions for Water Resources/Management, Urban, Public Health, Agriculture, Transportation, Tourism, Social Development, Energy, Industry, and Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services sectors were discussed.
