Financial Mechanisms and Modeling Consultative Meetings took place on 10-14 October 2022, in Ankara. The needs of the sectors on climate finance were consulted with stakeholders from the public, academic institutions, private sector, and non-governmental organizations.
In the meetings, the evaluation of the existing financing models for meeting the resource needs of adaptation activities within the scope of the Enhancing Adaptation Action in Türkiye Project and the development of new financial models and mechanisms that will increase the contribution of various actors, including the private sector, to adaptation activities were discussed.
In the evaluation of financial models and mechanisms to meet the resource needs of climate change adaptation activities, sector-based needs were discussed with stakeholders.
During the meetings, sessions were held on public health, tourism and cultural heritage, biodiversity, and ecosystem services, urban, energy, industry, agriculture, social development, water resources and transportation sectors.
